Marvel fans, assemble

The Marvel Universe comes to Disney+ on Hotstar.

Between movies, shows, games and 80-plus years of comic books, the Marvel Universe is famously epic. Luckily, the Hotstar app shrinks it all down into one place on your iPhone and iPad (possibly using Pym particles, though we can’t confirm that). Here’s a look at the sprawling Marvel Universe on Hotstar.

Iron Man is just one of the many fan favourites you can watch in the Hotstar app.

The movies

Disney+ on Hotstar comes with select movies from the Marvel Cinematic Universe: Captain America The Winter Soldier, Iron Man, Iron Man 3 and Thor: The Dark World. The global box-office smash hit Black Panther is also available in the app, as are other popular titles like Ant-Man and the Wasp.

Captain America is suited and booted, and ready for action.

The shows

Marvel Studios is already in development on new series featuring Loki (Tom Hiddleston), Hawkeye (Jeremy Renner), the Falcon and the Winter Soldier (Anthony Mackie and Sebastian Stan), Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and The Vision (Paul Bettany).

What If…?, a forthcoming animated series (the studio’s first), will take inspiration from the comic books of the same name. Each episode explores a pivotal moment from the Marvel Cinematic Universe and turns it on its head, leading to uncharted territory, like “What if Peggy Carter took the super-soldier serum and became Captain America?”

The all-star voice cast includes Hayley Atwell (Peggy Carter), Josh Brolin (Thanos), Chadwick Boseman (Black Panther), Tom Hiddleston (Loki), Natalie Portman (Jane Foster) and Mark Ruffalo (Bruce Banner/The Hulk).

And after that, the next round of shows will spotlight Ms. Marvel, She-Hulk and Moon Knight.
