You have a task to accomplish and want to manage your time in a effective way?

Then this simple activity timer is the right tool for you. It provides a plain and smoothly integrated timer for your OS X status bar. Choose between time presets (3 minutes, 5 minutes, 25 minutes and 30 minutes) which proved to be perfect intervals for all kind of activities. Or just define your custom intervals together with a custom message you want to see, when the timer has finished. This can be something which is motivating like 'well done, sir. Now take a break.'

For example you can just set 25 minutes in the "Activity Timer" and start the counter. You will get a smooth notification directly into your OS X notification center, when the counter has finished. Normally then it's time to take a break.

Free and Almost Perfect!

I use it as a quick way to keep me in time with my schedule: I can see the time passing by in the top bar, so I get a sense of urgence and avoid distraction.
It Works!
I would really like the ability to track the overtime: if the timer would change to red and started to progress, that would add a greater sense of urgence, making me work even harder!

Finally a free app that does the job!

I was looking for an app like that for a long while but finally I found it. It’s fantastic, easy, intuitive and I can track my work times in a very effective way.
4 stars beacuse the CPU usage is constantly too high for this kind of app.

Good but..

Please provide an option to auto-restart the timer after it’s over!

I want this to keep a rhythm and get a sense of how the time is passing you know..
