This update improves bookmarking and sharing and resolves a bug where sound plays without being initiated. We've also polished the UI and made additional backend fixes to continue improving performance. We are working hard to update the app to support many new exciting features in 2025. Please keep the feedback coming!

The Topics are full of bugs, you're forced to use the main US feed
Of course the quality of the journalism is top notch, but this is a review of the app. And the app is unusable. AP has reporters all over the world, but you can read only about the US because that's what appears always on the front page and that's what all the Topics are about. In theory in the section "Topics" you could add other world regions or subjects, but in practice that is full of bugs and you are unable to do so. You add and customize the order as you wish, then every time you restart the app they are gone.
