Apogee should change its name into “epic fail”

Congratulations, you just bought an apogee jam+ device. Want to update on your Mac? Oh, sorry, you can do it only on your iOS device, or ship it to the US and get it updated this way.

Wait a second. I just received an iPad Pro M2, I can finally update it on Maestro! No way! This app is so crappy and badly designed that you cannot see the device and update it. Such a pity that it does not feature its main function.

Wait a second, you have the badly designed Apogee support site, where you cannot find a way to solve this issue after days of browsing. No matters if you have a concert or you work with your device and you just want it to be working properly after having paid for it 160€.

And finally the support tells me… “sorry, we know the issue, you must find an old iOS device and use it to update it”. WHAAAT? Are we in 2023 or in 1993?
Well, I did it, and guess what? I can’t see the device on my brand “new” iPhone 6S. “Cable issue” they say. So sad that I was using their brand new (this time for real) lightning-miniUSB cable. And I even tried it on someone else’s device (still old as an iPhone 6S).

This means: wasted money. I can put my device in the garbage. The same place where I will send every future decision to buy any device of Apogee for the rest of my life. They work even worse than these app like Maestro, even worse than their cables.

Perfavore aggiornate apogee one per ipad pro, sul mac funziona e su un ipad pro nuovo non è possibile usare maestro con le schede one/duet/quartet ?? Come e possibile?????

Maestro 1.7 won't work after Duet 2 iOS Feb 2015 update.

As said Maestro 1.7 won't work after Feb 2015 firmware update. But my Duet 2 iOS " play " anyway on my iPad Air.
Obviously was a nightmare the firmware update process, since Duet was not recognized by the Mac/Yosemite. This issue also in the previous firmware update. Workaround was : update using iOS device. But now no way to update even from iOS device. I've got firmware update using a Mac running OSX 10.7.x.
Please fix the mess.
