How many times have you found yourself in need of finding the closest Petrol Station?
AroundMe quickly identifies your position and allows you to choose the nearest Bank, Bar, Petrol Station, Hospital, Hotel, Movie Theatre, Restaurant, Supermarket, Theatre and Taxi.
AroundMe shows you a complete list of all the businesses in the category you have tapped on along with the distance from where you are.
For every listing you can choose to see its location on a Map, view the route from where you are, add the information to your contact list or even email the information to a friend.
The Nearby listing allows you to find information using Wikipedia about what is around you.

NB: When AroundMe Weather push feature is active the app make a continue use of GPS running in the background that can dramatically decrease battery life.

Facile da usare - Utile pratica
Ho questa applicazione da anni e ogni volta che mi trovo in viaggio o in zone della mia città che non conosco mi è stata utilissima sia per trovare ristoranti, cinema, banche, distributori ecc. ecc. ma soprattutto per conoscere il territorio. Infatti cliccando la voce "Qui Vicino" l'applicazione segnala tutti i monumenti o luoghi di importanza storica delle vicinanze con tanto di distanza e direzione. Inoltre si collega direttamente a Wikipedia per approfondire. Veramente molto bella e facilissima da usare
Da correggere e migliorare
Ho scaricato questa app molti anni fa e l’ho sempre ritenuta semplice e benfatta. Non capisco, però, per quale motivo alcune categorie non si aggiornino più, vedi caffè bar e ristoranti non più esistenti, e anche perché, quando segnalo che alcune attività non esistono più o che hanno un indirizzo sbagliato, la segnalazione non venga presa in considerazione e io ritrovi dopo mesi le stesse cose. Aggiornatela e controllate bene le categorie per favore. Grazie
