Audirvāna Remote App allows you to control the Audirvāna software running on your computer from your mobile device and enjoy your music more freely at home. Your albums, playlists, artists and HD streaming services are all accessible from the Audirvāna Remote, and the software running on your computer still guarantees optimal audio playback.

- Browse all music libraries accessible from the application.
- Create, rename and reorganize your playlists
- Choose the output audio device and precisely adjust the volume
- Check and adjust all your settings

To use Audirvāna Remote:

- Open Audirvāna on your Mac or PC and install Audirvāna Remote on your iPhone or iPad
- Connect your computer and your phone or tablet to the same wifi network.
- Select your computer from the Remote app, and enter the code displayed on the screen.
- Enjoy the Audirvāna experience without moving from your couch.

Audirvāna is a software for macOS or Windows 10/11 that accepts all audio formats and makes music a priority on your computer to make it a true high-fidelity audio source.

All settings of your desktop app can be now changed using the Remote:
- Audio: Audio Unit/VST3 activation, Upsampling, Volume leveling and Volume control, Device-specific settings.
- Library: Folder synchronization management, Replay Gain analysis, Maintenance options, Backup management of local favorites, playlists, and artist pictures.
- Streaming: full connection management to Qobuz/TIDAL/HighResAudio/Last.fm.
- Appearance: Language, source list order, start-up view, and display of the progress bar as a waveform.
- My Account: connection/disconnection to your account, getting help with the Contact Us button and desktop app update settings.

- Audio Scan can be used while playing a song, a dedicated icon has been added to the mini-player view to start a scan.
- Enlarge the album artwork with a tap on the mini-player or the album view.
- Improved automatic reconnection of the Remote app.
- Other minor improvements and bug fixes.

Bella app... attenzione però al firewall sul Mac

A+ è una bellissima app per comandare il contenuto musicale del mac usando Audirvana. Peccato che spesso all’avvio del l’app non si collega al Mac. All’inizio credevo fosse un bug della app in realtà è importante autorizzare le connessioni in entrata sul Mac nella Sezione privacy firewall. Una volta fatta questa modifica la connessione è ottimale.
Gli ultimi aggiornamenti la rendono ancora più stabile e funzionale.

Versione 2.0: lenta e poco reattiva

Sul mio iPad 2018 questa app è diventata pesante e impiega un tempo lunghissimo a caricare le anteprime delle copertine degli album (Avendone un migliaio lascio immaginare il tempo di attesa per completare il caricamento).
La versione precedente era molto più reattiva e veloce e questa nuova me la fa rimpiangere. Spero in una patch che corregga tali mancanze.

Aggiornamento al 27 novembre 2019: Dopo aver aggiornato Audirvana sul Mac e scaricata l’ultima versione di A remote (2.1.2) su iPad, la reattività è effettivamente un po’ migliorata. Gli album si caricano più velocemente di prima, ma non come la versione 1, che resta insuperata come velocità di esecuzione.

Quale versione di Audirvana hai sul vostro Mac? La versione attuale è la 3.5.25.
