After elaborate and complicated years of renovation, the first stage of our major modernization is complete. We now present 20 new and renewed permanent exhibitions on around 20,000 square meters. The thematic diversity ranges from modern and historic aviation to agriculture and nutrition, from chemistry to bridges and hydraulic engineering, from robotics to health. Discover the new exhibitions together with their digital companion - the completely redesigned Deutsches Museum App.
In the app, you will find all the information relevant to your visit, from opening hours and daily events to directions and admission prices. More than 200 selected exhibits from all exhibitions are presented in detail. Look forward to expert interviews, original sounds from researchers at different universities, exciting stories from different centuries and completely new insights into the world of science and technology.
How does an gyroscope actually work? And how do inertia and supersonic aircraft go together? Our augmented reality app will give you the answers.
You can also use the app to prepare for your visit to the museum or to review what you have experienced - all content can also be accessed outside the museum.

Very usefull app, bu with limits
This app is very useful for visiting the museum, but is available only in english and german. It could be fine for a local museum, but is not acceptable for an european one!

Thank you for your feedback. We would have loved to provide the app in at least eight languages, amongst these Italian, since we are proud to have many international visitors. But the budget was limited. We will add more languages in 2020.
Useless
Poor user exp. only two languages supported. Now (aug 2019) on line ticket purchase is not possible due to “techincal problems with service provider” and the app does not mention it. A popup informs about a chance to win free tickets expiring on aug 1 though I’m writing on aug 7. Very bad experience with this app

Sorry to hear about your bad experience. The provider of our online ticket shop had technical problems. They have fixed them by now. We will add more languages, among them Italian - in our next major update. Hope you give us another chance then.
