Dexcom Follow – Monitor a Loved One’s Glucose Wherever You Are!
The Dexcom Follow App is part of the Dexcom CGM system.
Use this app if your loved one is sharing data from their Dexcom CGM app. The Sharer will need to send an invitation to allow you to connect after you have installed the Follow app.
Dexcom Follow is the perfect companion to your loved one’s Dexcom CGM, connecting you to those nearest and dearest to you, even when they’re far away. Through secure wireless connections, Dexcom Follow allows you to view and follow the glucose levels, trends and data of your loved ones.
Whether you have a child who is in school, an elderly parent who lives on their own, or a spouse who is going on a business trip, Dexcom Follow is there to keep you connected and informed.
With Dexcom Follow, you can:
· Monitor your loved one’s glucose activity at school or anywhere they go.
· Receive glucose information of up to 10 different Sharers – children, friends, or other loved ones.
· Respond quickly with the help of customizable glucose alerts and push notifications that can inform you when a Sharer’s glucose levels are outside the usual ranges.

Poca attenzione e investimento da parte degli sviluppatori
Applicazione che non sta a passo con gli aggiornamenti software dei telefoni cellulari perciò quasi sempre obsoleta. Com’è possibile che una app di questo genere, cosi importante per la sicurezza di una persona affetta da diabete, abbia così pochi aggiornamenti lasciandola spesso e volentieri obsoleta?
App che si disconnette spesso, che non ha aggiornamenti quindi non funziona come dovrebbe lasciando a rischio le persone con il diabete monitorate da Dexcome one plus. Insomma app che funziona malissimo. Pessima cura da parte degli sviluppatori che sembrano non fregarcene nulla di questa app.
Da verificare
Migliorata tantissimo nella grafica, ma qualcosa non funziona. Dopo aver impostato che la notifica, iper/ipo, deve essere ricordata dopo un’ora, continua a suonare nonostante sia stata aperta l’app e dato l’ok. Vi prego fate qualcosa, soprattutto di notte è terribile. Esempio arriva la notifica di iperglicemia, apri l’app per verificarne il valore, dopo qualche secondo suona nuovamente come se ancora non avessi aperto l’app. E così di continuo....
App mal funzionante
A parte non è supportare versioni IOS successive a 11.2.2, la App Dexcom Follow spesso non segnala le notifiche. Inoltre, non supporta il Watch e anche questo potrebbe essere migliorato visto che ricevere la notifica al polso è più utile oltre che essere sicuramente socialmente più accettato (normalmente non si può continuare ad aprire il cellulare per verificare la glicemia).
