EpicWin is an iPhone app that puts the adventure back into your life. It’s a streamlined to-do list, to quickly note down all your everyday tasks, but with a role-playing spin. So rather than just ticking off your chores and reminders, completing each one earns you XP to improve and develop your character in an ongoing quest to improve stats, gain riches, and level-up.

By getting points for your chores it's easier to actually get things done. We all have good intentions but we need a bit of encouragement here and there. Doing the laundry is an epic feat of stamina so why not get stamina points for it?!

The to-do list is fully-featured and supports repeating tasks, displays reminders for overdue events and allows time-critical events to be assigned to specific days, while more aspirational quests can be set to "someday" so you don't lose sight of your goals. And each task completed is destroyed by your avatar, so get your Undead Warrior to beat-up your laundry, or your Treeman to headbutt your overspilling inbox.

The app is supplied with 5 animated avatars which grow in characteristics that represent your own life. Will you be a Maiden of Juggled Priorities, or a King of Win? The lifestyle you lead will decide.

Non male

Mi piacciono le todo app perché sono troppo pigro per attivarmi da solo quando devo fare delle cose, preferisco sempre rimandare a domani. Oggi mi aiuta questa app nella quale ho un avatar da far progredire come se si trattasse di un RPG.
Mi sembra buona, ma non eccezionale. Necessita di ulteriori perfezionamenti, ma x ora fa il suo lavoro.
Attenzione: certi personaggi sono a pagamento! Visto quel che costa non mi sarei aspettato che il programmatore prevedesse delle app in purchase per alcuni degli avatar selezionabili. Due stelle per ora, ma da rivedere.

Broken

The app is completely broken. It’s impossible to read or type on it due to the way the interface looks. They basically just stole my money

Buona l'idea

L'applicazione segue un'idea decisamente buona, ma dovrebbe comunque avere tutte le opzioni di una ToDo list "classica" per potersi poi distinguere. Nella fattispecie manca l'orario dei task, cosa che da sì che nella lista appaiano in ordine di creazione e non in quello in cui devono essere eseguiti. L'unica poi è spostarli a mano.
Per quanto riguarda la parte "RPG", inizialmente è molto divertente, ma poi mi capitano sempre gli stessi loot. In più dopo un po' (già dal terzo livello) la progressione è troppo lenta, di fatto scoraggiandone l'uso.
