It is most likely that your device is too old, or too slow to keep up with the data stream. I have tried to remedy this (my own old iPad shows the same issue, as does an older iPhone), but it seems it is on the operating system or hardware level and not the app. Read more on the website.

App download ok pretty fast n easy, settings very easy too, after ps5 ip code still stay in connecting… so not working

Well, it’s working for many others, so make sure that both the console and the iOS device are in fact on the same network and the app should be able to find the game. Also, but I assume that this is obvious, GT7 needs to be up and running for it to connect.
