FarmDroid is the world’s first fully automatic robot that can take care of both sowing and weed control. With the FarmDroid robot we help farmers and plant breeders reduce their costs of sowing and weeding and we even do it in a CO2 neutral and ecological way.

The company FarmDroid ApS was founded in 2018 by the two brothers Jens Warming and Kristian Warming together with the Danish innovation environment Syddansk Innovation A/S and the acknowledged robot expert Esben Østergaard.

So far in 2022, the FarmDroid has already seeded and weeded 18.000 hectares spread over UK, Canada and large parts of Europe.

New Features & Enhancements:

- Added display of the connection status and last update time in the mobile app, mirroring the functionality available in the web app.
- Users can now include special characters in mount-points
- Enhanced automatic reconnection to the caster if no RTCM messages are read within 5 seconds, ensuring a more reliable connection.

Bug Fixes:

- Addressed a bug where the mobile app would stop displaying new data after being idle.
- Implemented alternative way to highlight completed pass lines (dashed lines are not yet supported on iOS).
- Fixed the problem when completed pass lines/headlands could stay visually incomplete in some cases.
- Aligned the number of decimal digits displayed in the mobile and web apps.
- Fixed inconsistencies in the "Alarms/Info" data between mobile and web apps.
- Aligned the order of parameters in the “Area info” and "Field" sections across web and mobile platforms.
- Improved clarity and fixed mix-ups in Seeding/Sowing related attributes in the mobile app.
- Aligned the order of charts in the Power view section of the mobile app.
- Corrected the display of the Info section on details screens without messages.
- Fixed issues with data synchronization in Power View between Web and Mobile for some droids.
- Ensured the same field is shown in the native app and web app.
- Corrected the state handling of the live mode and enabled toggles.
- Resolved various issues observed in connection status times.
