Description
The FUJIFILM Camera Remote is an application provided by FUJIFILM that can operate wireless-equipped digital cameras by remote control to shoot images and to view images and movies in the camera and to transfer them to smartphones or tablets. And it also supports the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. Pair it with your smartphones or tablet devices, it synchronizes "date and time" and/or "location information" of your smartphone or tablet devices with the cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In advanced of shooting, to easily transfer pictures you have taken to the smartphones or tablet device via this application. Bluetooth wireless remote shutter release can be used for cameras that offers Bluetooth® capability. In addition, firmware update is now supported from your smartphone or tablet devices via Bluetooth without the need of a SD memory card.

Vergognoso
È da un anno che provo inutilmente a collegarmi tramite iPhone o iPad senza essere riuscito una volta. È funzionata solo appena portata a casa, ora tanto valeva che metteste un jpeg al posto del menu che tanto per quello che serve per ora occupa solo memoria nel dispositivo. Trovo assurdo che nel 2020 ci sia bisogno di cercare e cercare inutilmente su internet soluzioni ad un problema che a quanto pare agli sviluppatori non interessa risolvere, con un sistema inutilmente macchinoso da fare sia tramite miroless che tramite dispositivo per poi perdere ore solo per scattare da remoto. Dovrò pensare ad una soluzione in terze parti perché non c’è alcun supporto del dispositivo da parte di Fuji che sembra interessata a vendere solo costose reflex. Direi quasi che l’app fa ad inficiare negativamente sul giudizio della miroless Fuji che di per se è la migliore che finora a provato, ma se ciò vuol dire tornare al paleolistico per incompatibilità mobile tanto vale prendere una qualsiasi altra cosa. Sistemate l’app altrimenti non serve ad a niente.
Come si fa a valutare se non funziona?
Ho una “modesta” mirrorless Fujifilm X-T100 che uso come compagna quando ho bisogno di una macchina portatile e tuttofare. UNA sola volta sono riuscito a connettere la macchina al telefono tramite l’applicazione, una volta su non so quante decine di tentativi. E ciò che è peggio, roche anche quando si connette funziona male, l’anteprima dell’immagine scatta e ha ritardi pazzeschi, il tasto virtuale di scatto non funziona quasi mai, è lentissimo, e l’app ok generale fa fatica anche solo a svolgere le sue funzioni base (quelle complesse neanche ci ho provato ad utilizzarle). La connessione via Bluetooth è assolutamente instabile (e inutile), mentre quello Wi-Fi, per la quale la macchina diventa una sorta di router a cui il telefono si connette, è assolutamente inutilizzabile.
Assurdo, davvero, eppure non stiamo parlando di dilettanti.
Aggiornamento pessimo
Ho una xt20 che ho sempre collegato al primo colpo, nome custom al wifi e zero problemi. Di recente ho aggiunto una x70, stessa facilità, convivenza senza problemi.
Aggiornato ed è impossibile connettersi, rifiuta costantemente la connessione. Rirpristinato il wifi della macchina, il wifi si è collegato una volta dopo numerosi tentativi, ho collegato l’app dovendo riconfigurare la camera. Al primo trasferimento si è bloccato alla prima foto, bloccata l’app, bloccato il wifi, non si è mai più ricollegata ho provato per 20’.
Non so se è l’hardware o il software, probabilmente i due, ma ho sempre sentito parlare male del wifi fuji, ora condivido in pieno.
Macchinoso, instabile, inaffidabile.
