Heading in a nice direction

This app reminds me of another one which unfortunately is not supported anymore, so it fills the gap quite nicely. Looking promising, although there are some rough edges. The app guides get in the way with the background application, and your selection will snap with the app guides, messing up with both. A workaround is to make a selection and then resize it without using the corner handles. It lacks undo/redo, so ya... if you fall into the previous case you have probably to redo your guide and selection as well. Finally, the contextual menu is difficult to access and it displays only if you click exactly at one of the active corners. This poses a major usability issue, as some options are accessible only from the contextual menu itself. Additionally, it would be nice if we could save and apply presets with a given size and position on the screen, and if more layout composition rules would be supported. I think it's promising and a really nice tool to have.
