almost there!

i LOVE this game, so much so that i’ve done at least 5 playthroughs already. the mini game aspect is fun and they’re just the right amount, never overshadowing the simulation side of it. the characters and the storylines are all super interesting and the diversity (in terms of ethnicity, sexuality and disabilities) is really refreshing to see. other than one bug where sometimes pop ups will get stuck on screen that’s easily solved by going back to the main menu, the game works perfectly.

now, onto what i think could be added in an update:
-more characters! i’ve encountered all of them already and loved picking different choices to see how it affects the relationship with them, but i wish there were more characters to get to know
-maybe being able to pick who you meet? i enjoy the surprise, but when trying to romance a character it would be nice to be able to pick gender beforehand
-something to balance mental health and the character’s relationship with their parents more easily would be really nice

other than that, i recommend this game to everyone who likes simulation games!

The concept of the game is good and the fact that you can bring your previous character as a parent (along with a random woman or someone you meet during the playthrough) afterwards, it’s a note touch.

However, this game have some huge flaws that I don’t think they’ll ever be fixed since it’s a done and deal game. Namely:

- the fact that you can’t choose who to meet. Say that I want Patty. She’s lesbian however. This means that I have to play an unknown amount of games as a female girl before even meeting her at random, in one of my many playthroughs. Definitely something that partially killed my interest after playing two times (not just for her mind you, but in general).
- the random tasks that your parents give that most of the time are insane and impossible to complete, ending up in a negative value for them. And the more you grew and reach the final stage, the more demanding they get.
- I don’t really get overall what even is the point of “preparing yourself” for the exams by grinding knowledge points and acquire skills. I assume the number of moves you can do with the exam mini-game? So it’s even more difficult since it’s not easy at all to get the required amount of skills to help you in the exam. Two playthroughs and I ended both as an “electrician” sort of. All because I couldn’t grab mostly anything at all to help me choose the career I wanted to end up with.

Shame. It could’ve been a really interesting game with a decent replayability (I don’t even know if this word exists, but you get what I mean), but it gets totally killed by these huge problems.

Problems with the game

I downloaded this app yesterday on an iOS system. Every time I started a new game and reached to the point where I was supposed to be born, it crashed. I tried again this morning, but it was pointless. Could you please fix this? If you will, I’ll give the game more stars
