I mazzi ignoranti
Non si può parlare male di questo gioco, coinvolgente, appassionante che giocano persone di ogni età. Decisamente alla portata di tutti. Ma proprio di TUTTI!
Mi spiego meglio: il gioco raccoglie personaggi di fantasia e li inserisce in un contesto di battaglia con magie mirate, strategie, trappole, difese e attacchi vari. Ricorda un po’ gli scacchi ma più rapido e dinamico. E, come gli scacchi un po’ di intelligenza e strategia porta al divertimento. Però gli autori hanno voluto aiutare chi, poverino, non ci arriva! E allora ecco carte che lanciano 10 magie a caso ( ma proprio a CA*** ,carta del mago) e altre che riportano le carte giocate nella mano dell’avversario o propria come a dire “ scusa non riesco proprio a trovare un sistema per difendermi non ci arrivo mentalmente” (il ladro, che deve rubare, ok, ma non restituire). Però lo capisco, anche gli ignoranti hanno diritto di giocare. Bel gioco comunque.
Tanta luce ma anche tante ombre
Il gioco è certamente divertente ed avvincente, è costruito molto bene, il bilanciamento è adeguato e graficamente è bello e piacevole da giocare. Purtroppo è sempre più difficile vincere con continuità e scalare la classifica senza mettere mano al portafogli a causa della continua pubblicazione di nuove carte e del fatto che le carte più potenti sono praticamente introvabili e comunque carissime da creare. Eccellente l’esperienza di gioco al pc, mentre invece su iPad, nonostante le dimensioni già enormi del gioco installato che sfiorano i 3 gb, all’avvio dell’applicazione si devono attendere ogni volta alcuni istanti per un ulteriore download. Surreale poi che, ad ogni aggiornamento, di fatto sia necessario scaricare di nuovo l’intera applicazione, con il risultato che, a meno che non si abbiano ulteriori 3 gb di spazio libero, l’aggiornamento fallisce per spazio insufficiente e l’unico modo per evitare ciò è disinstallare completamente il gioco e installarlo di nuovo da zero. Consigliato a chi ama i giochi di carte collezionabili e a chi si accontenta di giocare qualche partita ogni tanto senza pretese o ambizioni, vivamente sconsigliato a chi crede di poter vincere spesso e salire in vetta alla classifica senza spendere soldi veri.
Pieno di “ma...”
Il gioco é certamente un capolavoro videoludico ma il numero di carte prodotte nel corso degli anni fa si che il livello di conoscenza di carte e strategie sia talmente elevato che spesso più che un momento di relax diventa una frustrazione. Costruire un mazzo é semplice ma le combinazione é meglio “studiarle” su qualche sito web. Non é necessario spendere per avere le carte ma senza un congruo numero di carte “buone” non si va da nessuna parte. La app é bellissima ma incredibilmente DISASTROSA, caricamenti lentissimi, download continui, ad ogni aggiornamento circa 3 Gb di dati da scaricare. La cosa più assurda é che anche solo tornare alla schermata home mentre scarica aggiornamenti “in Game” comporta che al riavvio sia necessario ripartire daccapo...sembra ferma ai tempi in cui i giochi si caricavano un floppy alla volta. Decisamente inaccettabile questa ottimizzazione orribile da parte di una delle software house più famose e consolidate del mondo. Blizzard...mi hai deluso per la seconda volta, prima per aver ridotto wow ad un “non so che cosa per gli amanti dell’orda” e ora con questo. Non riesco a mettere più di 2 stelle, il gioco é da 5++++ stelle ma tutto il lato gestione e il sw così discutibile lo fanno precipitare, almeno per quanto mi riguarda, ad un misero 2 stelle.
