The PT Crimp Calculator app is brought to you by the PT Coupling Company.
The PT Crimp app lets hose assemblers quickly and accurately determine the final crimp diameter, or FCD, as well as which die and micrometer Dial setting to use for a given hose application. It also provides step by step assembly instructions as a quick reference.
Enter the hose wall thickness, the fitting’s shank outside diameter, the desired compression percentage and the ferrule wall thickness. The app calculates the optimal final crimp diameter (FCD) for all hose crimping systems and the die size and micrometer setting to use for the PT Coupling PTS8 crimping system.
