Description

How We Feel is a free app created by scientists, designers, engineers, and therapists to help people better understand their emotions and find strategies to help them navigate their emotions in the moment. Conceived in conjunction with Yale University's Center for Emotional Intelligence and based on the work of Dr Marc Brackett, How We Feel helps people find the right word to describe how they feel while tracking their sleep, exercise, and health trends using HealthKit in order to spot patterns over time.

Founded as a science-based nonprofit, How We Feel is made possible by donations from people who are passionate about bringing mental wellbeing to the widest possible audience. Our data privacy terms are clear and easy-to-understand: all of your data is kept on your device unless you opt-in to send an anonymized version of your check-ins to be used in research to help more people.

Whether you are downloading this app in order to build better relationships, make your emotions to work for you, not against you, improve how you handle stress and anxiety or simply to feel better, How We Feel will help you identify patterns through daily HealthKit tracking and find emotional regulation strategies that will work for you. The How We Feel friends feature allows you to share how you feel with the people you trust most in real time, strengthening your most important relationships.

Filled with step-by-step video strategies you can do in as little as one minute on themes like "Change Your Thinking" to help you address negative thought patterns with cognitive strategies; "Move Your Body" to express and release emotions through movement strategies;"Be Mindful" to gain perspective and minimize the negative impact of misunderstood emotions with mindfulness strategies; "Reach Out" to build intimacy and trust, two important tools for emotional wellbeing, with social strategies.

We have a very exciting update with some of your most requested features!

Here's what's new!
1. Add Your Own Emotion Words. You can now add missing emotion words that resonate with you.
- Here’s how: During a check-in, tap the search icon and type in a word. If that word doesn't exist, you'll be prompted to add it to the app.

2. Correlate your emotional history with more lifestyle habits. Add your daily water, caffeine, and alcohol intake to your check-ins.

3. Review the insights, affirmations, and suggested actions from Reflect.
- Browse your Reflect Takeaways as a collection in the Tools Tab
- Your Reflect Takeaways now are part of your Weekly Review

And we have included lots of bug fixes and improvements:
- You can now search for a specific tag. Press the + icon and start typing the tag name. When you see the tag you're looking for, tap on that tag to select it.
- Improved the Quotes experience when you haven’t added any custom quotes
- Fixed a crash when viewing a previous check-in with a voice memo
- Added a new option to Accessibility Settings to turn off Audio Ducking, fixing some issues with hearing aids and headphones
- Tapping on a takeaway from a previous check-in takes you directly to the takeaways page, not the Reflect experience.
- Reflections, Reflect Takeaways, Alcohol, Water, and Caffeine data are included in the Export my Data CSV and can be imported on a new device
- You can now donate to the How We Feel Project nonprofit within the app.

Un’app che ti cambia la vita

Aprendola ci si trova davanti a un mondo di profondità interiori. Professionisti in vari campi impartiscono semplici ed efficaci lezioni video per imparare a conoscere e gestire la propria gamma emotiva. Un diario quotidiano ( nel quale si possono aggiungere foto, commenti personali, note audio ecc. ), permette di annotare i propri stati d’animo scegliendoli tra quattro categorie molto dettagliate. Ogni stato emotivo viene spiegato in modo talmente semplice e preciso che anche le emozioni più problematiche sembrano amiche. Un’applicazione veramente incredibile!!! Da quando la uso la mia vita sta cambiando in tante piccole sfumature quotidiane. Mai più senza! Lavori così sono da premiare!!!!

Favolosa

Semplicemente un applicazione di qualità eccelsa! Possibilità di esprimere con precisione il proprio stato d’animo tra una valanga di possibilità; permette di controllare il tuo umore nel corso delle giornate/settimane/mesi e credo anche anni. Senza contare gli interventi video super interessanti ma soprattutto utili per cercare di capire meglio come comportarsi per fronteggiare una determinata emozione :)
