- Browse for Me Query Editing: When navigating a Browse for Me page in Arc, you can now edit your query directly. Simply click the up arrow in the bottom right corner of the screen, just as you would in regular tabs, to make your changes directly.
- New Browse for Me List Format: For searches where the results make the most sense as a list (e.g. “pizza in Washington DC” or “Nike sneakers from the 90s”), Browse for Me now returns results in a list format, making it easier to compare options.
- Advanced HTTPS Certificate Bypass: For users who understand the potential risks, we now offer the option to bypass invalid HTTPS certificates. This option allows you to continue accessing a website even when its security certificate cannot be verified.

Finalmente un browser diverso

Browser innovativo Lo sto testando da qualche giorno e posso dire che mi ha convinto per la sua estetica minimalista e le poche funzionalità (che non è un male). Funzioni come: ad-block, blocco dei tracker e blocco dei banner cookie sono funzioni che molto spesso non vengono implementate. Poi c'è la funzione di Sommarize molto utile che serve a fare un riassunto e molte volte, grazie all'IA, fornisce informazioni aggiuntive con una grafica molto gradevole. La stabilità è molto buona rispetto a molti altri browser, anche su Windows. Utilizzo risorse su Windows (per utenti avanzati) Per essere basato su Chromium, avevo basse aspettative, ma invece mi sono ricreduto: ottima ottimizzazione dell'uso della RAM, basso rispetto ad altri, ma l'utilizzo della CPU è leggermente più alto. Insomma e diventato il mio browser default

Nuovo browser default

Da utente Arc desktop (Mac) ho già provveduto a sostituire Safari anche sull’ iPhone.

Anche se ad oggi mancano alcune funzioni e non si può ancora definire un browser “completo” in tutto e per tutto, sono fiducioso che da qui a qualche mese (magari entro fine 2024) lo possa diventare. Essendo stato beta tester della versione per Mac, posso solo essere felice della direzione in cui questi browser sta andando e voglio sperare che i passi da gigante si possano tramandare anche alla versione mobile visto che ora il team è decisamente più grande.

Beh, che dire. L’unico browser che mi ha fatto cambiare safari dopo TANTE prove di altri (da Vivaldi, Brave, Firefox, edge, Tor…).

Convinta ma non troppo

L’idea di questa app è fantastica, per l’utente generico almeno. O meglio sono arrivati a capire che magari un utente pone direttamente una domanda al motore di ricerca e in questo momento questa è l’unica app che può dare una risposta sedutastante (browsing) chiara e diretta. Peccato che arc è ancora un prodotto di nicchia con utenti medi o che hanno molte conoscenze su questo settore di conseguenza questa app non raggiunge pienamente il suo obbiettivo. Però c’è da dire che non appena rilasceranno il browser arc anche per Windows sicuramente le cose cambieranno visto e considerando che il mercato principale corrisponde sempre alla Microsoft. Io stessa sono rimasta utente Windows e mi sono già iscritta al programma per beta tester e non vedo l’ora che arrivi il mio turno, detto questo tutto sommato va bene ma non sono convinta pienamente
