Description
The new app by Domotica Labs gives you the complete control of your building automation system based on KNX protocol directly from your iPhone, iPod touch and iPad. The application is a client installed on your device and communicate on the wi-fi and 3G networks with the supervision controller Ikon Server by Domotica Labs.
The user interface, entirely developed by Domotica Labs, let you an easy and fast access to all the functions of your building, lightning control, HVAC, irrigation, energy management, audio/video systems and much more.
No configuration is necessary! You just need to check the presence in your building a KNX automation system, the world standard for home and building automation, and an Ikon Server, the web server by Domotica Labs.
Than you launch the application and scan of your LAN. Once your connection is detected you can automatically import the project of your building and start to command your devices (lights, thermostats, pumps, etc...).
The app is compatible with all Ikon Server versions.

Non funziona con wi-fi
Purtroppo dopo l’ultimo aggiornamento di iOS non si connette più al web server via Wi-Fi ma solo più da remoto
Con rammarico valuto negativo
Da anni utilizzo l’app per un abitazione completamente domotica mi reputo completamente insoddisfatto, poco intuitiva, lenta, molto da migliorare.
Mi spiace perche la domotica dovrebbe essere il modo per rendere tutto piu intuitivo, intelligente e veloce ma purtroppo non è cosi.
Un esempio: ho collegato il portone del garage in modo da usare il telefono al posto dei telecomandini quando rientro a casa, ma per accedere alla funzione devo aspettare dai 3/5 minuti. faccio prima a tenere un telecomandino o addirittura scendere dalla macchina e usare il codice manuale.
Sarebbe troppo intelligente se percepisse il segnale GPS del telefono e mi chiedesse direttamente l’applicazione se voglio aprire il garage vedendomi nelle vicinanze?
Spero di essere smentito e che sia tutto un problema di programmazione da parte del mio programmatore ma non penso sia cosi.

Speriamo che il prossimo aggiornamento si possa aggiungere altre reti Wi-Fi per Ikon
