We worked really hard to fix all crashes that have been reported to us over the weekend. Sorry about this and thank you very much for bearing with us! Recent developments made some lurking issues a lot more visible, thereby causing crashes and data loss for some users. • Tried to make sure that documents do no longer can get corrupted on save (showing 'Zero Frames' on the Gallery). • Fixed a possible crash on opening a document. Result was that the iStopMotion could crash immediately when launching. • Fixed a few other rare but important crashing issues. • Playback should work more reliable, especially when quickly tapping capture and play or when using multitasking. • When selecting 1080p resolution, the minimum Time Lapse interval is set to 2 seconds. Shorter times would lead to crashes. • Fixed a small visual glitch in the timeline when running on the new iPad. • Prevented a rare crash under low memory conditions when starting the app or opening a clip. • Now stopping Time Lapse when the app goes into background. This should prevent a few strange crashes. • Fixed another crash related to playback.

• Major speed improvements for capturing. You can now use a 1 second Time Lapse interval (down from 3 secs) on the internal Cameras and 3 seconds (down from 5 secs) with remote Cameras! • iStopMotion Clips can shared to Dropbox as movies. • iStopMotion has been fully localized into German, with more languages to follow soon. Feel free to tell us about your preference. • New option to duplicate a Frame in the Timeline. The new Frame will be inserted right next to the copied one. More Timeline operations planned. • New option to delete All Frames of a Clip. • More precise blending between recorded Frames and live preview: Tap and hold in the preview area to get a slider for more detailed control. This extends the Show entry in the Clip Settings to more than 3 values. • Improved the image quality of all sharing options by using a higher data rate. • New Clips by default use JPG format for internal data storage. At almost identical quality this reduces Clip file sizes dramatically. You may still switch back to PNG in the settings. • Added display of estimated result file sizes when sharing Clips. • Certain presets are removed from email sharing if the resulting movie file size would exceed 10 MB. • The battery level of a used remote camera is now displayed next to the iPad battery level in the status bar. • New help overlay for the Camera Settings as well as information about missing focus control. • When selecting a remote camera and denying the connection on that camera, the previously used camera is once again selected. • When exporting to the Camera Roll and there is a problem with your photo library iStopMotion should now inform you about the problem instead of sometimes crashing. • Major under-the-hood improvements to the document structure. • Exported movies now contain a basic set of metadata. • Fixed a few crashes, hangs, a few major and lots of smaller bugs.

This update fixes the crashes reported to us so far. Contains some important export crash fixes, plus clips with only 1 frame can now also be exported. Thanks for all the great feedback!
