The Team Awareness Kit (TAK) (known as the Tactical Assault Kit in the Department of Defense) application:

iTAK is a collaborative geospatial application to see your teams’ locations, sensor information, videos, chat, and more in real-time. iTAK supports Department of Defense (DoD) and commercial sector standards for icons, sensor information, and communication. Data can be pre-loaded into iTAK or downloaded from the network (via TAK Server) when available.

iTAK capabilities include:
• Online and offline mapping (most standard formats), download the maps right in the app
• Blue force / team tracking (BFT)
• Collaborative mapping, including points, drawings, locations of interest
• Import and display of KML, KMZ, GeoPDF overlays
• Location marking, sharing, with photo tagging
• Chat, file sharing, photo sharing
• Live video streaming with the ability to share video links
• Spotted map to mark and share multiple locations across your map
• Digital pointer to rapidly mark and share items on the map with your team
• Navigation-walking/hiking, driving, also useful flying and air-ground coordination
• Center on self or other objects (e.g. another person in the network)
• Range, bearing measurement tools
• Team Emergency Beacons
• Customizable toolbar
• 3D perspective
• All data is secured and fully compatibility with the TAK ecosystem (ATAK, TAK Server, WinTAK)
• Useful for law enforcement, first responders, hunting, fishing, ornithology, wildlife site survey

New Features

Gotenna Integration:
- ITAK is now integrated with the GoTenna Plugin and will support connecting to a GoTenna network
- Connect to a network using GoTenna Plugin and GoTenna Pro radios
- Share and Receive current location
- Share and Receive markers
- Share and Receive routes
- Share and Receive shapes
- Supports single or group chat messages

Breadcrumbs:
Allows users to create a Breadcrumb trail
- Trails can be created from the user’s location, a contact’s location, or from any marker
- To access the tool, look for the new Breadcrumb icon in the user/contact/marker panel
- Breadcrumb drop frequency can be adjust in Settings > Tools > Breadcrumbs
- When ready, the user can save the trail as either a Route or a Shape
- Breadcrumbs can be toggled on/off on the Route/Shape as desired

Resolved Issues:
- Adds support for RTSPS video streams
- Fixes empty channel list when using TAK Channels
- Resolves TAK Channels channel list crashes
- Map item performance improvements
- Resolved scenarios when a TAK Server connection displays as not connected, but is or should be connected.
- Resolved delay sending device SA message on startup.
- Resolved issue where mission packages that only contained a basemap would fail to import.
- Resolved issue where mission packages that contain an image capture from the camera were incompatible with WinTAK.

Lo userei molto più spesso se venisse aggiornato regolarmente

Se questa app fosse aggiornata per trasmettere e ricevere da altre cam e droni la userei dí più!!!!

Poor of function

Its a Good app but,i haven’t possibility to switch from degrees in MilRad, I cannot make pics of the area to make a reference point or paint in the photo. It’s good if I wanna play soft air but not for a full military use and I don’t play soft air,hope you will improve some tools and addone the function I write up.

I was waiting for this app, how do I download offline map? And can I Google maps instead of the iOS one?
