Difficoltà a scaricare le mappe, prodotto discreto
Avevo l’app di Tom Tom di qualche tempo fa, ormai obsoleta e volevo sostituirla con una nuova a un prezzo umano o addirittura gratuita e tra le varie opzioni ho trovato anche questa.
Una volta scaricata l’app ho cercato di scaricare la mappa dell’Italia. Dopo quasi mezza giornata di tentativi ci sono riuscito (in poco tempo per un altro navigatore che dovrò valutare avevo già scaricato tutta l’Europa).
Provato questa mattina, il navigatore per le indicazioni stradali è buono e preciso.
Tuttavia ha delle pecche, non memorizza i preferiti (casa e lavoro), mentre lo spazio che occupano le mappe é più del doppio di quanto dichiarato (ci vuole molto più spazio es. delle mappe di Tom Tom).
Inoltre non è proprio del tutto gratuito, per togliere la pubblicità (che comunque non interferisce con la navigazione) c’è una piccola cifra da pagare, per il traffico la cifra è più alta e così via, tanto vale valutare un navigatore a pagamento ed esempio Sygic che mi sembra più professionale.

Da rivedere l’indicizzazione dei luoghi
Se siete riusciti a trovare la destinazione, poi funziona perfettamente, a livello dei migliori navigatori; preciso, eccellente la visualizzazione 3D e intuitiva la memorizzazione e il richiamo dei preferiti.
Il problema però è spesso quello di riuscire a trovare la destinazione; va profondamente rivista l’indicizzazione dei luoghi: io nella metà casi non riesco a trovare quello che cerco. Per fortuna è previsto l’inserimento delle coordinate GPS, per cui si può aggirare il problema individuando le coordinate GPS in Google e incollandole nella ricerca; ma certo non è un’operazione veloce.
Altra piccola pecca, è complicato capire quali mappe sono caricate.
Sarebbe anche molto utile avere l’app in CarPlay.
