Lifeline is a playable, branching story of survival against all odds. Using your iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch, you will help Taylor make life or death decisions, and face the consequences together.

Acclaimed writer Dave Justus (Fables: The Wolf Among Us) weaves a gripping interactive story through the aftermath of a crash landing on an alien moon. Taylor is stranded, the rest of the crew are dead or missing, and Taylor’s communicator can only reach you.

Lifeline pioneered a new narrative experience enabled by modern devices. This story plays out in real time as Taylor works to stay alive, notifications deliver new messages throughout your day. Keep up as they come in, or catch up later when you’re free. You can even respond to Taylor directly from your Apple Watch or your iPhone lock screen, without launching into the app.

Lifeline, il primo episodio di una serie di pionieristiche avventure testuali, ci ha tenuti con il fiato sospeso nella disperata attesa di un nuovo messaggio dall’astronauta Taylor. Quando ti spedirà delle notifiche di testo raccontandoti le sue vicende, starà a te rispondere e indicare la via, dire all’astronauta se esplorare o meno un relitto spaziale o prendere altre decisioni cruciali. La tensione crescerà mentre cercherai di aiutare Taylor a sopravvivere. La possibilità di ritornare sui propri passi optando per scelte differenti renderà questo titolo incredibilmente rigiocabile.

Modalità narrativa davvero originale

Come da titolo, questo gioco sfrutta un metodo davvero piacevole e diverso per raccontare una storia. Per gli appassionati: ricorda molto le avventure Infocom. Di la da quelli che vorrebbero la lingua italiana, richiesta comprensibile, non lo valuto 5 stelle solo perché le pause fra una sessione di gioco e l'altra sono a volte un pizzico troppo lunghe.

Gioco spettacolare

Veramente. Senza alcun dubbio è il gioco più bello e avvincente a cui abbia mai giocato. Mi ha trasmesso veramente la suspance che gli autori intendevano. *spoiler* quando Taylor si accorge di star cadendo in tranello dai suoi compagni ormai defunti che vengono usati da creature aliene è spettacolare, mi ha veramente fatto preoccupare come se stessi parlando veramente con un'amico. Adoro questo gioco, spero lo facciano in lingua italiana per cimentarmi a trovare gli altri finali possibili. Spero anche che facciano gratis anche gli altri due capitoli perché sarebbe veramente un grandissimo regalo per noi utenti. 20 stelle vi meritate!!!!!
