Browse & search for files on disconnected/detached external hard drives/flash drives with Offline Disks File Searcher! This file manager app works by listing & indexing folders or the whole removable media.
● Super Fast Scan: Cataloging a 1TB USB drive is usually a matter of a minute or two. (Tested with the developer’s daily used drives. Time may vary, depending on the complexity of the disk content.)
● Skipping Folders: You can opt to ignore hidden folders and any specified folders, such as “node_modules”
● Drag & Drop: Adding locations by dragging them into the sidebar, re-ordering the locations by dragging, and more!
● Streamlined Search as You Type
● Very Low Disk Space Consumption: Only filenames and file types are kept; no redundant data.
● Case-Sensitive or Case-Insensitive Keywords Search: Both the recall and precision are met!
● Concurrency: It can scan multiple drives simultaneously. Searching & browsing while scanning.
● Unicode Characters Support
● The date time of the last refresh is recorded for each sidebar location. It is shown in the context menu. This may help you decide if a refresh is needed.

Autoupdate and XLS
Thank you for this fantastic app. To be perfect, please add autoupdate when I plug the hdd in the list and a file export like xls or html or both :)
it would be 5stars if you can add a section
that tells you the size for each folder, even offline

Thank you for your comment! The function you suggest will significantly increase the scan time in some cases. But I will keep an eye on the technology. :)
