Oxford Junior Secondary Exploring Geography XR (OxfordGeogXR) is an augmented reality (AR) platform to be used with Junior Secondary Exploring Geography (Third Edition). By bringing images in the books to life using AR technology, the app creates an interactive experience that enhances the learning of geospatial concepts and geographical topics.
Special AR features include:
・ thematic scenes on book covers
・ actual and stepped relief feature models with cross sections
・ realistic topographic models of selected areas
・ animated 3-D models that illustrate the inner structure of objects and explain abstract concepts
・ interactive audio effects that create an immersive learning environment
・ body-tracking AR that adds an element of fun
