simple and effective

Bad reviews here complain always about codecs, transcoding...
Do not buy a NAS and expect a free Netflix to come along.

UPDATE:
actually not supporting AAC audio standard in qvideo player is not the best. the rest is all easily manageable.

However:
- most video and audio issues can be solved BEFORE you save files to the NAS with ffmpeg (100% free).
- This is not an app to save your own videos to in iOS. You save with qfile.
- the app is polished and the metadata fetch is actually not bad. Remote streaming is quite solid too.

Needs improvement:
- sometimes streaming the same movie on multiple remote devices makes playback stutter, while different movies don’t.
- better manuals to leverage music station.
- MacOS APP!!

Cool addons:
It would be awesome to have the possibility to save a set of webpage links or shortcuts in a dedicated section, e.g. if I have OMBI or another webui or app to search things, to be able to see it here and open it with one click. This would make the app a true cross-app media center.

Grazie
