REGISTRATION TRICK
After reading all the negative comments I tried to register and you can use your phone number but instead of putting +(national prefix) and then your number, put 00prefix and the your number !!
I did it for the italian prefix 0039! And I got my text.
Impossibile registrarsi senza numero di cellulare britannico
L’app necessità di una registrazione che come unico modo di conferma identità, prevede di indicare un codice ottenuto con il ricevimento di un SMS sul cellulare.
Peccato che se non si ha un numero di cellulare britannico l’SMS non viene inviato.
Quindi l’app che dovrebbe favorire proprio i turisti non funziona…
Non sono riuscito a ottenere un’aiuto.
Altre app non prevedono un simile sistema, copiate…
Cannot cancel a session
The purpose is the mobile app to pay parking, is that one can manage the actual use and time. So one can select longer time after parking and if leaving earlier, stop the session to be charged honestly.
This is not allowed by the app and by the council authorities. So, as I did in all other countries, I select some hours and then coming back much earlier I was astonished not finding the “cancel” or “stop” tag. Only “extend”.
So with no car parked I was charged for the full amount
