With a traffic alarm from Saphe you gain a wealth of benefits:

•    Quick and secure operation. 
•    You become part of a traffic community of more than 11 million users. 
•    Works abroad where you gain access to approx. 100,000 fixed speed cameras. 

Saphe Premium subscription

Saphe Premium gives you access to additional features:

•    Speed limit display.
•    Speeding assistant.
•    Route navigation.
•    Apple CarPlay.

At the same time, your subscription ensures that you will continue to receive the latest updates and features. The new Saphe Drive Pro traffic alert requires a paid subscription to Saphe Premium.

Saphe Premium can also be combined with older models such as Saphe One+ and Saphe Drive Mini.

Getting started 

•   Download the Saphe Link app.
•    Create a user account.
•    Connect the traffic alarm to your smartphone via Bluetooth.
•    Activate/create a subscription for Saphe Premium (required for Pro). If you have a starter pack, the traffic alarm is already set up with a 12-month subscription.
•   Place the traffic alarm in the car within sight and reach.

Please note that:
- to be able to start automatically, Saphe Link needs access to your location, while the app is in the background.
- continuous use of GPS in the background may drain your battery faster than normal.

Customise Saphe Link to your needs 

Select the alerts that are important to you. When you have ensured that you only receive the alerts that are applicable to you, you will be able to set alert times, alert information and tone etc.

Saphe Link enables motorists to communicate with each other quickly and efficiently by sharing data about everything that happens on the road. This form of communication can make a significant difference, with the goal of reducing the number of accidents in traffic. If an incident occurs on your route that you need to pay attention to, you will be informed quickly thanks to the active community of motorists. You can also help them by reporting traffic incidents yourself. The traffic data is updated in real time to ensure a high quality of the latest warnings.

Criticità consumo batteria e utilizzo posizione

L’app in se non è male, ma se si fanno viaggi lunghi, è necessario mettere il telefono sotto carica, è come avere un navigatore sempre attivo, anche con l’app chiusa.
Trovo infine molto discutibile il doversi far tracciare sempre per usarla al meglio.
Se infatti si mette l’app su utilizzo della posizione solo quando l’app è effettivamente aperta, e ci si ricorda di aprirla e chiuderla ogni volta, non segnala bene gli autovelox e sul dispositivo non appaiono il tipo di segnalazione (ex semaforo, autovelox fisso , velocità del limite in quel punto)
In pratica l’app fa tutto il lavoro, l’accessorio Bluetooth serve solo a farti la segnalazione.
Comunque, consumo abnorme di batteria a parte, funziona bene.

L’applicazione Saphe Link utilizza sia il Bluetooth che il GPS. Ciò è necessario affinché l'applicazione conosca la tua posizione e possa calcolare e aggiornare continuamente la tua velocità, permettendo di avvisarti nel posto e nel momento giusto. Non guidando più di un'ora o due al giorno, la maggior parte dei telefoni dovrebbe funzionare un'intera giornata con una sola carica. Tuttavia, c'è differenza nella batteria a seconda del telefono e del modello - c'è anche una differenza nel modo in cui vengo utilizzati i telefoni. Pertanto, alcuni telefoni potrebbero richiedere la ricarica più spesso di altri telefoni. Come dici è una buona idea ricaricare il telefono nei lunghi viaggi oppure se l'applicazione è sempre aperta consigliamo di utilizzare l’opzione a " Schermo nero" invece della "Mappa" poiché utilizza meno energia.

Sarebbe perfetta se…

Sarebbe uno strumento magnifico ma mancano alcune piccole cose che, se implementate, renderebbero Saphe un prodotto eccellente. Prima tra tutte, la più importante, l’interazione con le API di Google Maps e Waze. Se fosse possibile, oltre ai dati di Saphe, interfacciasti con i dati di incidenti, traffico, autovelox di Google Maps e Waze allora saremmo davanti ad un prodotto top senza rivali. Poi, sarebbe molto utile far funzionare Saphe su Apple CarPlay (che purtroppo al momento non va).

5 mesi e lo trovo TOP

Dopo 5 mesi di utilizzo lo trovo davvero ottimo, passo da un altro apparecchio simile che però chiedeva un abbonamento per poterlo utilizzare. Questo prodotto, oltre alla semplicità, discrezione e praticità di utilizzo ha una durata della batteria davvero eccezionale ! Dopo 5 mesi non ho ancora effettuato nessuna ricarica e lo uso tutti i giorni !
