• Disappearing Messages now has two modes, Disappear after Send and Disappear After Read
• When Disappear after Send is selected, messages will disappear from sender, recipient and network simultaneously a set time after they have been sent, regardless of whether the recipient has received or read the message.
• When Disappear after Read is selected, messages will disappear for the sender and the sender’s swarm a set time after they have been sent, and for the recipient and the recipient’s swarm a set time after they have been read. Messages which haven’t been read after 14 days will disappear for the recipient and their swarm.
• Both options will be available in 1-1 chats, but only Disappear after Send will be available in Groups. Neither will be available in Communities.
• This release includes the new version of Disappearing Messages, however the feature won't be enabled until March 13th 10am AEDT, this will give users time to update their clients to be able to interpret the new type of messages

Not the thing that I expect
I heard they use blockchain technology. So I used it to talk or chat with Iran cause the government block and filter all the social media and apps for communications. So I installed it and for first day it was working incredibly, after a day I couldn’t even sent a message. I heard nobody can filter it but I think the Iranian government did it. Any way the voice and the video quality was good. Better than other apps. I hope they can find a solution for filtering in countries.

Ottima, con una miglioria da apportare
App ottima e molto sicura, consigliata per chi non ha o non vuole condividere il proprio numero di telefono. Ha anche la possibilità di impostare un timer di autodistruzione dei messaggi e questo è fondamentale per questo tipo di applicazioni.
Chiedo agli sviluppatori se è possibile aggiungere una funzione molto importante: la funzione “svuota chat” che consente di cancellare tutti i messaggi sia sul proprio telefono sia su quello della persona con cui si chatta. Grazie

Privacy
App veramente stupenda mille volte migliore di signal qui no ce bisogno di usare il proprio numero di telefono , perche accedendo a un numero di telefono per comunicare gia e un app fatta male,, congratulazioni questa app e perfetta
