Shelly 1.4 includes a major update to the core SSH library which brings many improvements and new features, including:
- Improved compatibility with new SSH servers.
- Support for importing, exporting and generating new key formats.
- Fixes an issue where RSA public key authentication didn't work on some servers.
Other new app features and fixes in 1.4 include:
- Private and public keys can now be exported directly as files into other apps (previously only pasteboard was supported).
- Added an information popup that explains why a connection was closed while the app was in the background.
- Reorganized the 'Keyboard and Gestures' section in Settings to make it make it more straightforward.
- The toolbar can now be optionally hidden when using a physical keyboard.
- Fixed an issue that prevented entering text into other apps when using the app on iPad in split view with a physical keyboard.
Valutazioni e recensioni
Bug limitante
Su iPad è presente un bug che non permette l’utilizzo di Shelly in modalità split. Se su iPad abilito la modalità split screen affiancando Shelly ad un editor, Shelly ruba il focus di digitazione all’altra applicazione. Pertanto non è possible scrivere sull’editor perchè Shelly ha sempre il focus. Questo non accade con altre app di tipo ssh client. Spero risolviate perchè mi costringete a passare ad altro.
Quello che serve… senza abbonamenti!
Ho provato la versione free di quest app, derivata da PuTTY, e mi sono trovato bene per gli utilizzi limitati che mi servono (non ho una server farm🤓).
Ho acquistato la versione Premium sia per le caratteristiche aggiuntive che come giusto riconoscimento agli sviluppatori sia per la app che per il business model, se non si è capito odio le versioni con abbonamenti.
Semplice Facile Utile
Finalmente ho trovato uno strumentino semplice per monitorare da remoto il mio server. Gratuito. Facilissimo da usare e mai mezzo problema. Consigliato.
