Needs some extra features to be perfect.

It’s a very smart app, using azure tts api, cutting down the price for everyone is a true benefit for the world.

But we extremely need some basic pdf annotations tools ( highlights, underline) or even the ability to select the text you wanted and not an entire block ( sometime too big, bigger than a page).

Non riconosce la lingua

Ho un iPhone 7 Plus e un iPad Air, sul tablet non c’è modo di usare l’opzione paste. Sul iPhone ho caricato tutti i tipi di file possibili, li apre, si vedono ma non riconosce la lingua cosi tutti vengono letti in cinese. I formati .epub non vengono riconosciuti. Mi spiace ma alla fine ci rinuncio e dovrò rimuovere l’app per cercarne un altra...

First thanks for your feedback and for providing some details that can help to make the app better. Globally the Italian market is not big enough to make specific tests on Italian language for a small app like this, but all problems detected by the users will be fixed. From the problems that you have mentioned I can confirm only that Italian is currently detected as Korean. It can be overridden manually now from the app (you can manually pick the language for each item), and the real patch will come as soon as possible - one of likely solutions is that iOS 12 has the built-in language detection so the app will use that to be more precise. I can import all .epub files I have tried e.g. this one is on Italian: https://www.bookrix.com/_ebook-gina-paduano-il-giorno-mi-sussurrava-amore/ , the likely problem is that as epub is essentially a zip file your book might be using some weird variant of zip compression, but I would need to have a sample to confirm and debug. Considering the paste on iPad it is technically impossible that some feature works on iPhone only - it could be that you are using the split screen and that the app doesn't show paste, but then you still have it available in the '+' menu, possibly some more improvements can be made regarding this. Again all problems do have the solutions and the app has globally almost 5 stars rating so you need to contact the support and everything will be resolved, all such information is very useful.

Good app, just few fix

I think that this is a good app, with high quality audio and very nice UI. There is only one bug that I think needs to be fixed. When I listen to a text (headlines section) in a language different than English at the beginning it works, but when I tap on “add to article”, the audio that follows is converted into English even if the original text is not English, so it is not pleasant to listen anymore. Moreover, It would be nice to see small notifications when there are new feeds, or a different opacity in the text/title so the user does not need to open the feeds one by one to see which one contains new articles or updates. If this bug will be fixed the app would be great.

Thank you for your nice words. Unfortunately the issue is not reproducible. For example I have tried 'Corriere della Sera' and it works properly. As you see the problem it is likely one of those two things: 1) you have set the language in Settings to be English 2) you use some specific web site that I am not aware and in that case for further progress I would need a link. Also of note if you have 'auto-detect' option set for the language and you get wrong language detected you can change the language of the item by long tapping on the item and picking 'Edit'. Please check this and update your review. Also contact me if you still have any problem.
