What is procedural generation ?

Core to Stellar Horizon is that its virtual galaxy, including the stars and planets, are all created through random procedural generation
using deterministic algorithms. A single seed number is used to create these features via mathematical computation thus eliminating
the need to create each of these features by hand.
This enables the game to have a massively open nature: it is estimated that with the 32-bit seed number, Stellar Horizon virtual
galaxy will include over 4 billion planets. Any player will be able to visit a specific planet once they know its galactic
coordinates, given their spacecraft has the capability to do so, and find the same features as any other player,
as these coordinates serve as the seed for the planet's topography and environment.

Stellar Horizon

Ho dato 5 stelle perché il gioco merita indubbiamente (se vi piace l'esplorazione spaziale...) e il fatto di aver trovato solo un'altra recensione é un peccato, il gioco viene aggiornato di frequente. Personalmente non ho riscontrato bug o lag nel gioco per adesso a dispetto di quello che ho letto su qualche forum.
Troverei il gioco ancora più interessante con una grafica un tantino più suggestiva (anche se questo comporterebbe un ingrandimento del peso dell'app) e una navigazione più fluida quando si esplorano i pianeti. Qualcosa di più simile ad un gioco che a google maps per intenderci. Ripeto con piacere che il gioco merita e che personalmente mi ha stupito in positivo. Magari un giorno sarà possibile giocarci in multiplayer... :D

Ps: il fatto che l'app pesa solo 30 Mb é di per se un affare.

Voto sulla fiducia che questa applicazione in futura possa esser sviluppata meglio sopratutto per quanto riguarda l’esplorazione dei pianeti e i vari menu.
Per il resto è potenzialmente il gioco che è sempre mancato a chi piace l’esplorazione spaziale.

Esplorazione spaziale alla massima potenza!

Il gioco è qualcosa di eccezionale, unico nel suo genere su iOS! Potete esplorare liberamente lo spazio, ed addirittura atterrare su ogni singolo pianeta pe esplorarlo! L impatto iniziale non è proprio dei più felici, ma una volta superato i primi problemi di approccio al gioco ( c'è una guida in game in ogni caso) l universo si aprirà davanti a voi in tutta la sua immensità!
Commercianti, pirati, esploratori, scegliete voi cosa diventare!
Lo sviluppatore aggiunge novità molto di frequente, super consigliato!
