Much better UI but has some issues
I tried to renew my Talkspace subscription and I couldn’t because of some annoying error. Had to switch for BetterHelp and their UI is horrendous compared to Talkspace. The only problem of this is interrupted audio messages and, yeah, payment.
A mental health support app offering no support.
I signed up to this app 2 weeks prior, paid the fee, and have yet to talk to a single therapist. I will not be renewing my subscription, and I’m deeply disappointed that the app would take advantage of people who are seeking support for mental illness. It seems astounding to me that one can purchase a service and have absolutely nothing to show for it after 2 weeks, not even a single follow up from a technician. Not a single therapist has been available despite being matched with 4 different persons. This is out of pocket and mental health is often inaccessible to most— and I still do not have a single word shared with a therapist. How is a monthly subscription justified when two weeks have passed without talking to a single therapist ?
