This is the companion app for the families and staff using the Tapestry online learning journal and management system in their school, nursery, or at their childminders.
You must have access to a Tapestry account in order to use this app.
The app is a pared-down version of the browser. You can use it to:
- Create, view, edit, and comment on Observations
- Create, view, and edit Care Diary entries
- View and comment on Memos and Activities
- Sign children in and out using the Register
- Log into your account quickly using a PIN or biometrics
- Access and add to your child/children’s learning journal/s whilst offline
Privacy & Data Protection:
The school/nursery/childminder that purchased the Tapestry account is in charge of the data that is added to and stored in Tapestry; what is added, how long it is kept for, and who can see it.
We at Tapestry only use the data you enter to provide, fix and improve the service. We don’t use the data for marketing; we don’t share the data with others to do marketing.

- staff can now add body maps to accidents.
- fix for users that sometimes get stuck on an observation they had been looking at, when returning to the app.
- PIN screens should stay available now, as the information needed is cached in a way that prevents the device from deleting it, when it needs more space for other activities. This should also prevent cache warning messages appearing, and generally improve logging in, especially for PIN-only users.
- various bug fixes.

Manca care diary

App carina ma è un vero peccato che non si possa vedere il care diary: da migliorare assolutamente questo aspetto.

Very good app. However care diary isn’t accessible and it it difficult to post memos and observations from the app. I have to do it from the site.

I also wonder why there aren’t any notification alerts for chats or posts.

Hi, thank you for taking the time to review Tapestry. We are currently working on adding the Care Diary to the iOS app as well as the ability to add memos from there.

You should be able to post observations and receive notifications through the app though. If you are experiencing difficulties with these things please get in touch with us by emailing customer.service@eyfs.info and one of the support team would be happy to help you.
