Description
Tardigrain is a granular synthesiser for iOS that runs standalone or as an AU plugin. Sounds are created by taking smaller fragments of a sample and playing them back in a non linear fashion, with settings for grain size, direction, step size and more. Process the sound further through effects like reverb, wave shaper and sample crush. Tardigrain supports connections with AudioCopy, AudioBus, Inter App Audio and AUv3. Plus all audio parameters can be modulated by MIDI, as AU parameters and by aftertouch on the build in keyboard. Now also a selected set of parameters can be modulated by LFOs och notes triggered by a new sequencer/arpeggiator.

My preferred granular synth
Simply awesome! Every sample you put in it, it becomes a whole sonic world. Set set of parameters to control grain generation permits deep interaction without being overwhelming. The modulation features are unique, including the interna keyboard. I used for drones and pads, but evens for plucks I had wonderful surprises.
Crash con Cubasis2
App eccezionale peccato non funzioni con Cubasis2,ogni volta nel caricamento si blocca e manda un segnale di crash. Cercate di risolvere perché è un vero peccato.

I really love this app! There’s only one thing that is not so good, could be possible in future assign the midi cc command number for xy axis?
