Description
Manage your adult Oyster and contactless cards on the move with the app.
• Top up pay as you go credit
• Buy adult rate 7 Day, Monthly and Annual Travelcards, and Bus & Tram Passes
• View your Oyster card and contactless journey history
• Check contactless payments
• Check your pay as you go balance and see season tickets
• Check if you have any incomplete journeys
• Allow notifications when your pay as you go balance falls below a certain amount, or your Travelcard is about to expire
When you top up your credit or buy a Travelcard or Bus & Tram Pass, it will be available to collect after 30 minutes when you touch your Oyster card on a yellow card reader as part of a journey on any London bus, or at any Tube, DLR, London Overground, TfL Rail or National Rail station within the pay as you go area, tram stop or River Bus pier.
Keeping on top of your spend is easy; see the date, time and cost of your journeys from the last 8 weeks.
The TfL Oyster and contactless app will request access to your camera. This is so that you can scan your payment card. We will never store the scanned pictures. Alternatively you can enter the card details manually.
You can’t currently add Oyster photocards to this app.
You can’t currently buy discounted tickets through the app.
For security reasons the TfL Oyster and contactless app is not supported on jailbroken devices.

Non riesco a capire queste recensioni negative....l’app è veramente comoda e utile....fatta bene....ma vorrei dare dei piccoli suggerimenti:
- sono una turista e perciò ho inserito l’indirizzo dell’hotel che mi ospitava e non ho avuto NESSUN problema nel registrarmi.
- ho registrato la mia carta di credito visa contactless e non ci sono stati problemi e durante il soggiorno ho potuto visionare in tempo reale tutto i miei spostamenti e l’eventuale costo giornaliero....tra l’altro in modo automatico mi calcola i miei tragitti ed esegue il tetto massimo giornaliero( io ero in zona 1-3 perciò max 8sterline al giorno),le condizioni sono le stesse della Oyster card.
L’unica attenzione da fare è ricordarsi di timbrare sia all’ingresso della stazione e sia all’arrivo (se vi dimenticate vi verrà addebitato il viaggio di circa 5,5 sterline, questo lo so perché il primo gg avevo sbagliato, mea culpa😔 e non farà somma col tetto massimo giornaliero).
L’importo totale della giornata vi verrà addebitato il giorno seguente e dipende dal tipo di carta ci saranno le commissioni che sono veramente ridicole.
Non esiste con questo metodo di pagamento, una caparra.
-ho registrato anche una seconda carta, ma era una visa electron+ bancomat(atm): in questo caso l’app mi ha registrato correttamente la carta ma non l’ho potuta utilizzare perché il loro circuito non è pensato per queste carte perciò niente carta di credito ricaricabile, l’unica pecca è che ora vorrei eliminarla dall’app e non ci riesco, ho provato a vedere per il call center che è aperto 24h ma solo se lo chiami o se gli mandi una classica lettera, e non ho trovato un indirizzo email per chiedere informazioni.
- di sicuro non la cancellerò e tutte le volte che sarò a Londra utilizzerò la carta di credito per muovermi e questa meravigliosa app.

Hi Daytona27. TfL accounts are designed for use with UK addresses as this is where most regular users are based. You can use a proxy UK address, so you can register your Oyster card and use the app - Marc
