Unico
Last Express è un gioco unico nel suo genere, e per una volta l’aggettivo unico è del tutto appropriato. L’interfaccia di gioco basata sul tempo reale è originalissima, basti pensare che i personaggi interagiscono tra loro indipendentemente dalla presenza del nostro sulla scena. L’orologio che consente di tornare indietro quando si incorre in una fine prematura può risultare frustrante a volte ma, una volta presa la mano, ripetendo o cambiando scenari, si può cogliere ogni sfumatura della complessa trama dell’avventura. Il gioco è stato sviluppato da un team insolitamente corposo coordinato dal geniale Mechner, risulta curatissimo in ogni dettaglio e, purtroppo, il suo motore non fu più sfruttato per dar vita ad altri titoli simili. Per me va collocato nella top ten delle migliori avventure grafiche di tutti i tempi, questo porting non aggiunge nulla al gioco originale del ‘97 ma ha l’immenso merito di renderlo nuovamente disponibile a tutti gli amanti del genere. E nonostante l’età non sfigura, anzi, si conferma un capolavoro.
Stupendo
Questo gioco mi ha riportato indietro ai tempi delle avventure point and click. Il creatore è lo stesso di Prince of Persia e in molti dettagli si vede. Non aspettatevi cose 3D o effetti assurdi, solo una bella storia e il vero e la vera e propria filosofia del gioco.

Grande gioco, di grande atmosfera... Lo sto giocando ora per la prima volta ed è coinvolgente e ben fatto (calcolando che uscì nel 97)
