Description
Outdoor sports is great, fun and healthy - no matter if you are on track with a mountain bike, race bike, commuter, pedelec or E-Bike. But what if you crash and lose your consciousness despite a helmet? In the open terrain or on a remote street? Nobody nearby who can help you? Then Tocsen will help you! The system consists of a crash sensor which is mounted to your helmet and a smartphone app. If the sensor detects a crash, an alarm will sound and your smartphone will ask how you're doing. If you don’t answer, Tocsen will send an alarm to your emergency contacts and to the Tocsen community.

My Mode: Active, Standby and Off. With the new main function 'My Mode' you can make adjustments with one tap. For example, set your crash helmet sensor into an energy-saving mode. Find out more in the app.
The new protection- and homescreen: You now have an even better overview. For example about your sensor, the community nearby and your emergency contacts. Plus a manual SOS emergency button for quick access in the case of an emergency.

Più che app un servizio
Partiamo dal presupposto che ogni soluzione rivolta alla sicurezza sono da lodare a prescindere.
Parliamo però di questa app che serve principalmente per due funzioni :
1- interfaccia con il dispositivo Tocsen per il rilevamento delle cadute
2- ricezione notifiche come destinatari individuati da chi ha configurato il suo dispositivo Tocsen
L’app è un po’ acerba ma sostanzialmente funzionale.
A mio avviso manca, soprattutto per chi la usa come destinatario di ipotetiche notifiche una funzionalità che mostra la posizione del proprio “caro” anche quando non è stata attivata l’emergenza. Voglio dire che se uno è preoccupato può sempre verificare dove sia la persona che sta usando il Tocsen.
Manca anche la notifica per il livello di batteria basso. Questa cosa sarebbe molto pratica.
Migliore per sicurezza!
Spettacolo, questa app funziona veramente bene, gli sviluppatori aggiornano costantemente e devo dire che non ho avuto mai alcun bug. Funziona benissimo, molto meglio di altre, la community inoltre è in forte espansione (consiglio a tutti di far scaricare l’app anche a chi non la usa attivamente quindi amici e parenti per avere notifica immediata in caso di soccorso). Personalmente l’ho associata al mio Tocsen nativo su casco Uvex Quatro Integrale.
