For iPad OS 17 and later connect any USB C HDMI Capture card or USB C Webcam directly into VideoViewer Pro
Additional Benefit to using th HDMI Capture Card
- Audio can be heard through the speaker or when connected to AirPods / Bluetooth headphones
- Manual selection of the Audio output source
- Video source can be displayed in Picture-In-Picture mode allowing the playback to continue while using other Apps.
- The video input can recorded and saved to the Photos App
- Snapshots can also be taken of the video and saved to the Photos App
- Rename Videos (renamed displayed only in Video Viewer)
- Full Support for Split View and Slide Over
- Full Support for Stage Manager
- Each device type connected can be configured independently. Settings include
- Camera Name
- Mute State
- Camera Resolution
- Camera Frame Rate
- Camera Mirroring On / Off
- Camera Rotation - 0, 90, 18 and 270 degrees

Has limited compatibility when connecting to the UVC device using a USB C Hub.

VideoViewer will now allow saving recorded video directly to local storage. The video is available in the Files App this is in addition to the option of saving recordings to the Photos App. You can also playback video while running VideoViewer Pro. Video recording stored in the Photos App or videos stored in the VideoViewer Pro Folder in the On My iPad section of the Files App

Finalmente un'applicazione che gestisce la nuova API di iPasOS 17: lettura input video da USB.

Funziona egregiamente ma a patto di comprare la versione pro: il watermark è troppo invadente.
