This game is about developing cities, build troops and fight other players. Since the number of cities is limited, while troops are unlimited, you end up looking for resources to build more and more troops. Entering an alliance lets you have more fun and learn a lot of undocumented features. A key part of the game is recruiting and training officers, special units that boost your troops effectiveness; you can provide them with gear and medals to make them stronger. You can access all the features of the game even without spending money, though in the long run you are having a hard time fighting people more willing to spend.
