Yoink is like having an always-there, easy-to-access storage shelf for your Mac. Use it to stash files, folders, images, documents, URLs and text snippets until you’re ready to use them – all without having to clutter your desktop.

Using Yoink couldn’t be simpler: drag an item to the edge of your screen and out slides your handy shelf.

Yoink helps you work faster and more efficiently in small but meaningful ways. For example, with Yoink you’ll be able to move an item from one folder to another without having to open side-by-side windows.

The app is also great for gathering items from various locations – drag everything to your shelf (and create a stack, if you like). Or use Yoink to keep key files at your fingertips by pinning what you need to your shelf.

Although Yoink is incredibly handy right out of the box, you can tweak the settings to unlock even more capabilities. Enable Yoink’s multiple-clipboard feature to view the 20 items you copied most recently. Or set a keyboard shortcut to make the shelf appear underneath your pointer whenever you need it. And Yoink’s companion iOS app makes moving content among your Mac, iPhone and iPad especially easy.
