Description
The Fire TV Remote App enhances the Fire TV experience with simple navigation, a keyboard for easy text entry (no more hunting and pecking), quick access to your apps and games, plus voice search. Voice search is powered by the same voice search engine as Amazon Fire TV and supports the entirety of Fire TV’s integrated video, app and game catalogue. Note that voice search does not work directly inside individual applications such as Netflix.

Love this app
I love this app its way easier to use than a remote but I would like to give an idea of possible to add a volume button to the app as well. Because I keep switching between my phone and my remote for the volume
Convenient Bt needs work
This app is very convenient but needs work to resolve so little issues. App keeps disconnecting from the fire tv and sometimes has to be restarted to connect again.
Malfunction
My kids damaged the remote so this was the best substitute until it started to have a mind of its own. It was great at first, but if you click the any button 1 time, it moves 4 or more spaces ahead and select something else.
I’ve tried redownloading, but after a while, it’s the same. I don’t know if it’s a bug, but if that can be fixed, then there’s no other issue.
