Description
The Service 4.0 mobile app can join you and your colleagues on any assignments and provides direct access to all relevant technical information, fault codes and service partners in your area. Fault codes can be read out directly on site using the QR code.
Function overview:
- Direct access to all relevant machine documents, such as spare parts catalogues, operating and maintenance instructions, fault codes
- By means of a QR code scanner fault codes can be read out directly
- Download technical documents in PDF format
- Search for BOMAG service partners and dealers
- Personal documents can also be used offline

Improvements
- App Lock – You can now enable App Lock in Settings. This locks the app when it is closed or moved to the background. To unlock the app, you need to authenticate using Face ID or fingerprint.
- Home screen widgets – You can now place News and History widgets directly on your device's Home screen. When the app is running in the background, the widgets display the same content as the corresponding widgets on the app's homepage.
- Feedback – Text feedback can now be up to 2000 characters long.
- Knowledge Panel – The user interface has been improved.
Bug fixes
- Community & Team Knowledge:
- Fixed an issue that could cause the app to crash when posting a message.
- Fixed an issue that could cause the wrong username to be displayed when a user left a problem.
- Fixed an issue that caused the reply to be incomplete when quoting a message.
- News – User roles are now correctly evaluated when opening the news.
- Topics – The title of topics is now displayed correctly in the viewer.
