Description
"hi-blind" is a blind test app supporting high-res sound sources.
With hi-blind, sound source files in a variety of formats, including high-res sound sources, can be encoded in AAC so you can listen and compare quality.
・ABX Mode
ABX Mode uses selected files transferred to the app via the iPod library or the "File Sharing" feature on iTunes to create AAC files of a user-specified sound quality (32 - 256kbps).
A randomly-selected file is played, and users are asked to guess if it was the original file or the AAC file.
・SORT Mode (Pro version only
Specified sound files are converted into multiple AAC files with various bit rates.
Sort Mode auditions these sound files and arranges them by bit rate regardless of format.
・Supported formats
- FLAC/AIFF/WAV/ALAC (-192kHz/24bit)
- AAC, MP3 (-320kbps)
* DSD is not supported.
* Cannot play files protected by DRM.
・In the PRO version:
- SORT Mode is available.
- Comparisons can be made using high-res sound sources and uncompressed PCM audio (44.1kHz).
- No advertisements.
