Description

Observing-R is for observing and coding past or current events on a macOS device. The covered retro-time span of observation and date when backward observation should begin can be set arbitrarily. Special case: retro-time span can be set zero and date can be the current date and time. In this case coding refers to the actual moment.

The master software Observing-R can configure an add-on software Observing-iR which uses an iPhone as an external remote keyboard. The iPhone application Observing-iR can do nothing unless it is setup by the master software Observing-R. The number of add-ons Observing-R can configure is unlimited. That means one needs to buy only one master software that can serve many iPhones. For the time being Observing-iR is free.

The observation tasks Observing-R can set up is unlimited too. That means one installation of Observing-R can be used for different projects without messing with each other. Setting up observation tasks is simple and can be done in a couple of minutes.

Observation tasks are sent to iCloud where Observing-iR may download them. To run a task on iPhone user needs to enter an username and a password. These need to be entered only once. Thereafter the task may be run as often as the user wants without re-entering username and password. Running an observation task lasts only a couple of seconds. After user has finished results are automatically uploaded to iCloud where the master software Observing-R may download and process them.
