I like the design but too much problems

When Scotia updated their app some time ago I was happy and it was good for a long time. Then I updated it within the app store after it started giving some issues and it has been problems since. You’re lucky if you can sign into the app - it has only been working on WIFI or me and everyone I know with it for MONTHS. It’s the only app on my phone that says there’s no internet even though I have postpaid data. Also, you can’t view details of transactions with this version and I hate that. I’ll see a deposit and have no idea where it’s from and have to wait until I have time to go on the website. I’ve never heard of losing things with updates; always adding things and improving. This app needs help.

Lack of information

On the old app I was able to see the full transaction details however with this one I can’t so I still end up going to the web version to see all the details. The responsiveness of the app has improved but it’s still lacking compared to the old one. I also noticed that the push notifications stop working which in my view was a great addition.

It’s worth the download

I have been using this app for more than a year now and I haven't had any major issues with it. It works pretty well with Wi-Fi and data. I’m using an iPhone 13 and every update has seen improvement. I have never had an issue logging in unless I miss input my password, even though I no longer use my password I will scan my face and I am in… the app as proven, very significant on my daily payments, transferring money, and paying on my credit card. I would advise anyone with a Scotia account to use the app very efficiently and save time from standing in long lines.
