Calculate required ventilation to meet whole-house ventilation standards
Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) affects the health and comfort of a home’s occupants. Controlling the amount of air coming into a home controls pollutant levels, odor, humidity, and many other important factors.
Whole-House Ventilation Calculator by ReVent is the easiest way to calculate the required ventilation rate to meet ASHRAE 62.2-2019, “Ventilation and Acceptable Indoor Air Quality in Residential Buildings.” Simply input the home’s Square Footage and Number of Bedrooms to find the home’s Required Ventilation Rate.
Whole House Ventilation Calculator can also factor the natural ventilation of the house into the calculation. To do this, perform a blower door test on the home and input the results into the calculator. The calculator will automatically take the results and adjust the Required Ventilation Rate to match the needs of the home.
Print and share the numbers calculated directly from the app. ReVent’s fans and controls offer the perfect solution to meet the Required Ventilation Rate. Install the recommended ReVent Model in the home. Set the ReVent control to the Minutes Per Hour recommendation and you’re done. This is an easy and inexpensive solution to bring any home up to modern ventilation requirements for indoor air quality.
