1. As a third party App, they charge you for too many things that you really don’t have to pay for if you directly book with the car rent service provider such as Avis, Budget, etc. Just download the car rent agency App and use it to make a booking.

2. They are fraud when it comes to what they claim regarding protection against cancellation of rent, etc. For example, there is a “Peace of Mind” feature which is supposed to protect you and get you refunded in case of cancellation (no questions asked as they say!) but it has no value and they don’t refund you.

3. Insurance is tricky depending on the country you are in. Don’t trust Apps like this one when they say car is insured against damage, theft, etc. In this respect, third party Apps don’t provide accurate information. Therefore, it’s advisable to check with the car rent agency directly to fully understand your coverage.

4. Rent agencies sometimes give great discounted rates (e.g. healthcare employees, etc). You don’t get such discounts if you book via third party Apps.

5. Cancellation, rescheduling, making phone calls, among others, are much easier and straightforward when you book directly with the rent agency. If you book vis third party Apps and something goes wrong, then you get yourself in a confusing and terrible situation while trying to contact both the App’s customer service and the car rent agency to ensure things are resolved!

I used to go by company itself to book for car rental but i did tried Carla its showing really reliable and and cosst effective solution . One item to be improved for better Carla is to have a faster service method when customer facing difficulty at the office of the rental company . Please also make sure of the rental companies because they cancel bookings prior at the same day of the pick up and thats really bad attitude.
