Description
The STOP HCC-HCV app is an educational app that teaches the community about hepatitis C. The user-friendly app walks users through basic information on hepatitis C, including what causes it, how it is transmitted, how to diagnose it, and provides information on treatment. The STOP HCC-HCV education app offers to teach-back questions as users go through the app to ensure important information is captured. The app can be utilized within a clinical setting to educate newly diagnosed or at-risk populations or in a community setting for general education. All app content is accessible without Internet access but can only be installed and updated when connected. The STOP HCC-HCV Program developed the app and is supported by the Cancer Prevention and Research Institute of Texas (CPRIT).
