Not worth it
The application is not of any further benefit. The user experience is good enough, needs more work though. However the interface and the entire operation of the app itself is not beneficial. Meaning it does not add any further general benefits for its user, it seems the only Etihad bank can benefit the most without having to go through annoying and unnecessary steps and especially costs.
An idea of opening an online bank account via an app is alot easier and beneficial if opened through another intermediary banking system.
Going back to the interface. You will realize as soon as you start using the app that its not as smooth as one would think when it comes to figuring out what to do and how to benefit. You will eventually ask the underachieving “bot” for help to figure it out. Also many of the icons don’t give feedback responses, such as the copy to clipboard button.
To cut it short. Stick with your own bank’s online banking and cliq application. No added value.

Our services are designed to help all users, not limited to Bank al Etihad customers. The verification process is a standard procedure for digital account opening. Importantly, there are no costs or fees involved, from opening your account to creating your multi-currency cards. We're sorry if you felt otherwise.
Also, we've addressed the "copy to clipboard" issue in the latest version, and we're actively working on enhancing the app's interface for a smoother experience.
